It spontaneously fell over in the major road to Park Lanes (T.V. Hwy). Apparently it happened in the early afternoon, and stuff was still messed up by the time I was going home after 9pm. Yikes! Backroads suck when there is that much traffic. It felt like I was a rat in a maze.
Tonight we had a good crowd of 33 people at the Paradise Lounge in Park Lanes. The regulars were there – Dazed & Confused, Miracle Max, Sheep Shaggers, The Beer Whores, Geeks United – but we also had a couple new teams that did quite well! Womser United was very strong all night, but the final question got them, and “1000 and…” took home the first place prize with only two people! Show the old guys what’s what, new guys!
It was a great night to be out and about, drinkin beerz doing triviaz. I can’t wait for the tournament! If you guys haven’t signed up, go now to the website! They are giving so much stuff away during the awesome long event that it’s just silly. DO IT!
And as for inanimate objects leaping into roads, I did get there before 7, but it was close! So next week I’ll just assume something crazy is going to happen on the drive over there. Duh.
