So last Thursday, we had an interesting exchange at the ol’ Pub Quiz. First, of course, there was the question about the 1976 pornographic version of “Alice in Wonderland,” and oh how did the pub quizzers enjoy that. Then, there was a question about “Into the Woods,” which I thought was a story, but was corrected and told was a musical. But since no one heard the correction, I wise-cracked, “It’s a porno too!?” Then someone shouted, “A musical porno!” Which leads us to the image above.

This is the poster for the “Alice in Wonderland X-Rated Musical Comedy” in question. So it appears sometimes life imitates Pub Quiz, and vice versa. Either way, the Wildcatters knew their Humpties from their Dumpties and took home the top prize for the evening. It was a smaller than usual crowd for the Belmont, all taking in one of summer’s last great days, no doubt. So we only had three n the Challenge Round, with Beige Food and the Beast besting Strokus Arcana. But watch out for our third place team in the future, because these guys have been contending a few weeks running now!
