Our Quizzer’s choice theme last night was one of my favorites, ‘Science Fiction’. I loved everyone scrambling to find a science fiction item in their possessions as part of our ‘Let’s make a deal’ style bonus point opportunity. I saw all kinds of cool sci-fi things including a business card for the International Bigfoot Society and the Chewbacca ring tone on one guys phone made me laugh!

But in the end, it was the Quiz everyone came to play… and things were close through the bingo round and the ‘Who am I’ round was a big success. The Pseudonym handout not so much.

We had three teams enter the final round. Unfortunately, ‘Schadenfreude’ committed a thought crime when they missed the ’1984′ based final question. ‘The Skeletons of Quinto’ got the final question right but didn’t have enough points to overtake our winner for the evening ‘Borg-9′. Well played guys!!

PS Now that I think about it… did anyone really think that Borg-9 wouldn’t win the Science Fiction theme?? Would i be saying that if I wasn’t assimilated??
