I love sunshine. I really do. But 100 degrees in the shade is.. tooo muuuuch! Thankfully Hood River has a nice breeze all the time, and it started cooling down, uh, by the time the quiz was over. Heh.

Last night was a fitting tribute to the team that has won 7 times in a row – that’s right, a Seven-peat! The reason it was fitting is that two of the members – Josh and Alex – are leaving Hood River. Another member is going on vacation, rafting the Rogue River (best rafting river ever, it’s amazingly beautiful). So they are down to three original members next week – we’ll see how it goes for them!

In second place came the Sandbar Developers, which deserved it I think – Joe was dousing himself with water all night, and looked like he needed a place in the money. =)

I got so much chocolate last night I had to leave some behind for the good people of the Horse & Hound. I even got a container of home made chocolates filled with delicious spirits. Home made! I was pretty jazzed about that. Actually, I’m going to stop typing and go have another one. See you guys next week! Maybe it will be under 100 degrees in the shade? Thanks again to people who dragged themselves to the quiz – it was fun even in the heat wave.
