Man oh man oh man oh man. We had a packed house tonight. 50 people showed up to play Pub Quiz tonight at the SpaceRoom, it seems that folks like it there on Wednesday nights, and rightly so. Affordable nom-nom-nom’s and glug glug glugs make it a great way to spend a couple of hours trying to steal your table neighbors cash, right?

The Bingo was off to a swift start, and team “Bye Bye Caribou Barbie” had a commanding 20 something point lead into the final rounds. It was that boneyard handout that fucked em though. They got a little “Stiffed” and then BOO YAH it was all “Nuts and Gums together at last” that took first going into the final challange round. Nuts and Gums did score a PERFECT score on round two, Secret Message, tonight. Nicely done, 120 points in a game is something to boast about, for sure. Nice going to all the teams that made it into the final round tonight. Only one team did NOT correctly guess the term that Al Gore coined about the internet tonight, yet the wagering was all over the board, so the Sarah Palin dissing group wound up back in the lead, just as they had started. Well done my quizzers.

The bottom three tonight did NOT include the Cupcakes, who showed up with some fierce helpful fellows likely named Drake or Quinn or possibly Dwanye. None of them were John, and thus none led them into a victory, but those lovely pierced ladies and lads did know a thing or 12 about bones, and thus, pulled up to the fourth from the bottom spot tonight. This, in the eyes of Cupcakes “A victory” not last indeed girls and guys of Cupcakes, not last indeed.
