Twas a night of fury and wrath of Shakespearean drama of epic proportions as the two teams Days of Swine and Noses tied with team LPG and her trusty Nerd at the end of the game. LPG had the 20 point lead due to a speedy bingo bonus until Days of Swine and Noses caught up with two perfect scores on the handout rounds. Once all the scores were tallied, we had a coin toss to decide who would choose the final question. (Thanks Uncle Steve!) Thus it was a very dirty little battle at The Maiden this week. At the end of the game, the two teams tied for first were given 3 choices to break the tie: 1. A tie breaker question 2. A DANCE OFF or 3. split the pot. Of course I mumbled the last option into the mic, because let’s face it, it’s just boring. So after getting everyone at the Maiden ALL RILED up for a nice exciting Bollywood style dance off, the teams chose the tie breaker question and WHAM-A TIE again! Dance off – DENIED. We did have several of the other teams jumping up to offer help, and try and persuade the teams involved in the tie to jump up and dance. We had an impartial judge standing by….so watch out next week. If we get another tie breaker at the Maiden, there will indeed be a dance off. Record some good Bollywood endings, go rent “Lord of the Dance” or practice in the mirror, cause you just never know when I might call “DANCE OFF”
OR this:

Unless you’ve got some awesome Napolean Dynamite moves hiding somewhere. In which case you’re a hands down winner imho. “Thou must consumath thine own Ham, Tina”
But fear not, a dance off is not a common occurrence. It just happens to happen once in a while when there’s a tie, and when your favorite Quizmaster is in the mood for dancing. It’s all the colored lights at the Maiden, I swear, they make me a little woozy and giddy. I’m liable to…?
Till our next voyage- I’m off to Red dresses and heels THIS weekend.
