We had a quaint quiz last night down at Biddy McGraw’s as most people chose the second option… I mean what, was there a Portland professional sports team playing in the playoffs somewhere? O wait… GO Blazers!! Gotta win 2 more baby!! I have faith! And if for some reason you think that an underdog can’t win, you just need to look at last night’s winners of the quiz!

I have to say it was nice with only 25 folks in the crowd last night (Don’t get me wrong… I’m hoping you other folks will be back soon!!) but in a venue where you usually have over 60 folks… it’s sometimes nice to sit back and enjoy a smaller crowd. And don’t think that because there were fewer folks that it wasn’t as competitive! Every team was within 15 points of first place going into the final round with two teams just missing the final rounds by 2 and 3 points respectivly.

‘The Understudy Achievers’ were second goign into the final round but unfortunatly fell out of the cash by missing the final question… ‘Schadenfreude’ leapt over them into second. But the night belonged to ‘Bad at Math’, (And this is where the Blazers should note!) That’s right they were a two person team who had never played together but fought strong and took 1st place against several teams of 5+!! I love it when the underdog pulls through!! Well Played Guys!!!
