Anyway, back to biz- no quiz last week due to a freak occurence of not enough quizzers being around to quiz
so I’m happy and grateful for all our returns and new faces at the Olympics Quiz last night (With an honest to goodness Olympian there! Crazy bonus points, like bringing an actual dinosaur to dinosaur quiz night. Or bringing me a beer on beer and wine night. Or any night.)

Covered a lot of ground in Round one’s questions from lucky strikes to oriflammes (which looks like a sun and a bunch of little lightning bolts on a red flag if you were wondering, worth reading up on) with our regular teams looking like USA, Russia, and China in terms of olympic dominance with My Precious and Sandbar Devs doing particularly well in Round 2′s Jeopardy. A close race with the handouts still, so it came down to the final challenge question with My Precious and Uncomfortably Numb betting it all and Sandbar Devs betting 0 points.

And at a scant lead of 12 points My Precious took first, Uncomfortably Numb took second, and Sandbar Devs beached at third. Congrats My Precious!
