The quiz crowd’s keeping me on my toes again- the majority of our thirty-one players showing up just 10 minutes before game time. As long as we can play I suppose it’s alright with me.

Had a regular ol’ quiz with a heavy emphasis on spelling, from tricky words to trickier celebrity names. Pros not Hos and Sandbar Devs scrabbled over first, with team Solar Treasure maintaining third place throughout.

Even with the bingo bonus under their belt Pros not Hos were succeeded by SD for first by the final round, and proved to be the team with the strongest sense for spelling- taking first place with a modest wager to come to a total of 343 points

But SD was not the only winner last night!

4 points ahead in the standings, My Precious won Quarter 2 of the 2012 Horse and Hound Trivia Derby and recieved a painting commisioned by local artist Logan Fish (http://comicfury.com/profile.php?username=logan%20force), you may recognize his art or comics from Artifacts.

Here’s another breakdown of the rules:
Each week over the course of three months you get points for showing up, placing in the top three, and placing in first.
1 point for showing up
1 point for placing in the top three
1 point for 1st place
for a possible total of 3 points a week
The winner will recieve a trophy (I’m still upping the ante there), a tab in their team’s name, and reserved seating.
